Liverpool boss Arne Slot makes Man Utd feelings clear with 'false' comment

Arne Slot has warned Liverpool are facing a Manchester United side in a false league position. The Reds boss is not expecting an easy game against Ruben Amorim’s struggling side this weekend despite United being in a lowly 14th position after three Premier League defeats in a row.
United have lost five of their last six league games to see them closer to the bottom three than the European places. But Slot - whose side will be looking to maintain their six-point lead at the top of the table - is not getting complacent. The Dutchman said: “For me, I can say it one more time they have much better players in my opinion than maybe the league table shows. It is going to take a while maybe for Ruben Amorim to bring it out of the players but they will definitely go up.”.
Amorim is already feeling the heat after just a few months in the job as United struggle on the pitch and the Portuguese head coach battles to implement his style of play on a squad not really fit for it. “I think every manager sympathises with every other manager because we all know how much pressure this job brings, that is no different for him or me,” said Slot.
“This is a job with pressure, it is also something we like, otherwise we should not do this. He has done so well with Sporting. He has a good squad so he will eventually bring the best from them.”.
