Arne Slot's opinion of himself sums up Liverpool boss perfectly - 'Almost impossible'

Arne Slot insists he is no different to the Premier League's other top managers. Slot has led Liverpool to the top of the table in his first season since replacing legendary boss Jurgen Klopp. The Dutchman has lost just one match, with his side four points clear of nearest challengers Chelsea and holding a game in hand over the rest of the top half.
The Reds brought in only one signing in the summer transfer window in Federico Chiesa, but the Italian has barely played since his arrival. The squad he has used finished third in the Premier League last season. Despite the major improvement in fortunes under his management, Slot has insisted he is nothing special. Instead, he has praised his side's attackers for their performances.
“Pep Guardiola, Mikel Arteta and Enzo Maresca are doing pretty much the same thing, I think,” he told Voetbal. “There are enough overlaps between me and other trainers so being unique as a trainer is almost impossible. "I don’t do anything that no one else in the world does. You may not often see a trainer bringing in so many attackers in the final phase of a match to achieve a victory. That’s part of me, I think. How I want my teams to play football.
“I put almost all attacking players on the field against Nottingham Forest when we were behind at Anfield at the beginning of the season, but that didn’t work out well. All connections were somewhat lost that afternoon, so to speak. But later it turned out very well a few times. Also, against Fulham when we played with one man less for almost the entire match.”.
