Two weeks remain of the transfer window and Liverpool are yet to make a move. Marcelo Pitaluga has departed for Fluminense, while Calvin Ramsay has moved on loan to Kilmarnock. Arne Slot is yet to see any new players enter the fold as the Reds target a Premier League title however.

There was plenty of talk over Darwin Nunez's future this month but the Uruguay international delivered a timely brace against Brentford to secure the Reds three points. The forward's ability to claim three points was highlighted as Slot's side struggled to find a way past the Bees.

So what could await in the coming days? Mirror Football takes a look at some of the latest news and transfer rumours around Anfield. Harvey Elliott has declared that Liverpool is his club amid talks of a potential exit. The former Fulham youngster admitted he has had 'friendly talks' with boss Arne Slot but it sounds like his focus is entirely on what he can achieve at Anfield.

Elliott said: "Absolutely [I want to stay]. Liverpool is my club, Liverpool is my team. I want to fight for my place, fight for my position in the team. I am going to do what it takes. Do it as much as I can. "Help the team out when it’s possible. It’s down to me to put in the effort, the hard work, the desire, to make that achievement. I am not going to give up, I am going to keep fighting and who knows what might happen.".

Midfielder Tom Hill is set to leave Liverpool for Harrogate, per the Liverpool ECHO. Hill has been at the Reds academy since the age of five and is now closing in on a permanent exit. The 22-year-old is expected to sign an 18-month contract as he looks to kick-start his senior career.
