Christine Lampard found herself blushing on the set of Lorraine recently. Taking over for the usual Scottish host, she was deep in conversation with Aussie star Jason Donovan about his latest tour. But when everything was wrapping up, the 46-year-old presenter couldn't hide her red cheeks as Jason threw some charming compliments her way. She reminisced with Jason, commenting:"If I could tell my kid-self, when I brought my bomber jacket with a picture of Kylie and Jason on the back that I'd be sitting here now telling you about it, it's quite a moment. I've just got to put it out there.".

When Jason enquired if she was a fan of the famous duo, Christine responded in delight: "Are you kidding me?! Who wasn't.". The TV personality then teased about her mum potentially keeping the jacket, labelling it as vintage treasure, reports Bristol Live. As they closed their chat with details of his tour, Christine expressed how wonderful it was to see him. This prompted Jason to compliment her, commenting: "And you, looking great! Friday, fresh, I'm getting excited for the day!".

Christine burst into laughter at his words as he shared plans to head to rehearsals, which left her jesting: "Oh dear, making me blush!". Curiosity also peaked when Christine asked about any special guests on his tour. Singing Especially For You, a Kylie Minogue duet, will be on the cards, with Jason confirming: "Sophie is our backing vocalist. There might be a few little twists! But, I don't like to preempt any names.".

Christine, buzzing with curiosity, couldn't help but ask: "Oh ok, there could be a surprise?" Jason, playing his cards close to his chest, teased: "Anything is possible.". With his tour set to launch on the most romantic day of the year in Cardiff, Christine was eager to find out if he'd make an entrance as memorable as his last. She quizzed: "You skateboarded on stage the first time around. Will we be seeing that again?" To which Jason responded: "Well Christine, I am 57 this year.

"It could happen, I'm known to do things on the impulse. I love skateboarding, surfing, I love performing. Sure, it could happen, anything is possible.". He then shared a candid insight into his physical concerns: "But, I'm also nervous about my back, my right shoulder; I'm more fragile these days! I'm working harder to say more normal, that's what's happening with my age.". Lorraine continues weekdays on ITV from 9am.
