Lorraine Kelly's absence from her ITV show has been a hot conversation for some time. The Scottish broadcaster fronts her name-ship programme on the network between Monday to Friday, often interviewing a string of famous faces. However, there are often times when fellow presenters including Ranvir Singh step in for the 65-year-old during periods of abscence.

Famously, Lorraine is off screen for the school holidays, with drag icon Danny Beard joking on the show that Lorraine didn't have any children in school and was baffled by the decision for her to be off. But Lorraine's absences have been tracked by one social media sleuth who runs the anonymous LorraineKWatch page on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The account which boasts over 25,000 followers on Elon Musk's microblogging platform posts every day about whether Lorraine is on screens, or if she has been replaced. On December 31, 2024, the account told its followers that Lorraine had presented 59.7% of the show which was 154 episodes, with Christine Lampard fronting 20.2%, which equated to 52 episodes.

Although the identity of the person running the account is unknown, they admit that they had no idea the account would take off the way it has. The user has explained that they are forced to tune in everyday to see is presenting the programme but when they work in their office, they have clever ways to ensure their co-workers do not detect them.

But despite being in their second year, the user has revealed they had doubts over whether they would continue into 2025. Speaking to Metro, the anonymous user said: "The concept tires quite quickly. I don't know how much life is left in it but I'll continue for now. X can be a horrible place so if I can bring something that's a bit of fun that can make people laugh then why not?".
