A LUXURY doomsday bunker designed to boost wellness and longevity is set to open next year with AI healthcare and luxury living. The Aerie complex will be one of a network of luxury fortified underground bunkers that will be a safe haven for all residents.
It was dreamed up by Virginia-based company Safe (Strategically Armored & Fortified Environments) which has pushed the design boundaries for the private homes of preppers. Their work includes installing fiery lakes, shotgun walls and water cannons. Now, those who have deep pockets will be able to buy a residence in Safe's network of 1,000 subterranean homes that are set to be built across the globe.
Aerie, the first bunker of its kind, is scheduled to open next year in Virginia, the wealthiest state per capita. This is vital because construction will cost a whopping $300 million and prospective buyers will have to dig deep with Aerie's memberships costing up to $20 million each.
There is also a limited number of memberships with enough for just 625 people. SAFE's director of medical preparedness, Naomi Corbi, said there are different membership tiers available, the cheapest of which can be afforded by a moderately successful CEO.
The most expensive option, known as the Asylum Membership, is invite-only and the requirements to be eligible are still being fine-tuned by the creators of the bunker. But, these multi-millionaires will be living a life of luxury while being in one of the most secure buildings in the world.
