Last weekend, Madonna surprised fans when she arrived at the Comedy Cellar in New York - and took to the stage to try her hand at stand up comedy.
Sharing a photo of herself wearing a black, fluffy coat, Madonna wrote on X: "It’s so sad to watch our new Government slowly dismantling all the Freedoms we have been fighting for and WON over the years.
She followed on from friend and comedian Amy Schumer with a half-hour routine that encouraged chuckles from the live audience - and she also took the opportunity to slam Trump's actions since he returned to office.
"She didn't do as well as you'd think she would, she got laughs every time she dropped F-bomb, because just hearing Madonna curse is funny.
