A man has been busted by his wife after his sneaky supermarket snack habit was exposed on her mobile phone. Taking to Reddit, he shared a screenshot from his other half's device, showing his top purchases of 2024, revealed by the Tesco Clubcard app. "Tesco grassed me up to my wife's Clubcard app," he grumbled, alongside the image of his top three most-bought items in 2024.

The list showed he'd splashed out on a staggering 411 cinnamon swirls from the store's bakery and guzzled down 258 cans of sugar-free Red Bull over the course of the past 12 months. And proving he must be thirsty before work in a morning, the man also seemed to have a thing for Diet Coke, snapping up 219 cans in the same period.

When quizzed by a fellow Redditor about his cinnamon swirl spree, he admitted: "I like two or three whenever I go to the shop before work, but I don't even like them that much." He also confessed: "I sometimes leave the edges/crust though so it's not as bad as it looks.".

But his love affair with the sweet treat doesn't stop at Tesco, it seems. For he boasted: "Also at weekends I sometimes get cinnamon swirls from the Co-op near my house. Let it be known that the Co-op's cinnamon swirl game absolutely embarrasses Tesco.".

One person was left stunned, exclaiming: "This is absolutely unhinged behaviour, 411 of them and you often waste part of it because they're not that good. What would the numbers be like if you loved them?". Another Reddit user sympathised with the man's sweet tooth, meanwhile, confessing: "I have a serious sugar problem and looked to see how many KitKats I bought last year. I'm ashamed to say it was over 900 KitKats.".
