MSE said: "If you're paying for Premium but don't need all the bells and whistles, switching to a Standard plan could save you £6 a month or £72 a year.".
The price of its “Standard with Adverts” plan has risen from £4.99 to £5.99 a month, while its “Standard” package without adverts has gone up from £10.99 to £12.99 a month.
If you want to stay with Netflix, MoneySavingExpert.com has explained some ways to lower your costs - for example, you could save money by switching to a lower plan.
If you don't want to keep paying for Netflix, you can cancel your package without paying an exit penalty.
