A brand new event is on everyone's lips as Marvel Rivals' The Spring Festival is on the horizon, offering players the chance to snag some snazzy new skins, as well as participate in a closed-off arena fight with a few of the game's scrappier heroes. Marvel Rivals is on top right now, and as if a whopping Season 1 wasn’t enough, packed with a major Battle Pass and a playable Fantastic Four rollout, the game has delivered even more content for players to get stuck into. So far, so intense. The game has been moving at a million miles per hour recently, sharing with players innumerable chances to upgrade their accounts with free Hela Twitch Drops and a Jeff the Land Shark Discord reward – but now, more cosmetics are coming, with some fresh content to go with it too.
Marvel Rivals' The Spring Festival event will introduce a new collection of cosmetics and a new mode for players to get stuck into, as per the update 20250122 patch notes, including a Star Lord skin that is entirely free to unlock and, in a pretty heavy surprise, there isn’t long to wait before the new event actually begins. The new Clash of Dancing Lions mode is particularly compelling, too, as it pits players against each other with a slim selection of different characters that seem to oppose each other in playstyle quite drastically, as the game's patch notes imply that up-close-and-personal fighter Iron Fist will have to face off against Black Widow, a sniper.
