MAX George has been spotted for the first time since leaving hospital and surgery, as he walked his dog with his mum. The Wanted singer was sent home from hospital recently, having had a 2:1 block in his heart. Max - who went sober four years ago amid previous liver problems - saw his heart rate dramatically drop earlier this month.
The condition was diagnosed as a 2:1 block - and with no improvement after a week Max, 36, was given an emergency operation to have a pacemaker fitted. Now, recovering from his incredibly tough month, the star has been spotted out on a dog walk near his mum’s house in Salford.
Max cosied up and kept warm in a large camouflage coat and a wool hat as he strolled along with his bulldog on the crisp winter outing. The 36-year-old looked in good spirits as he chatted to his mum Barbara George and they played on the grass, at one point with a huge branch, with adorable dog Albert.
Max’s mum Barbara was also dressed for the weather in a black coat and bright blue hat. Just a couple of days ago, Max, who has been keeping his legion of fans in the loop, revealed he had to return to hospital amid fears about his pacemaker. He told fans he's been feeling a "flicking" in his chest since going under the knife for emergency surgery.
Max said in a new video: "I'm in the hospital for another check up because I've been getting this 'flicking' feeling in the left-hand side of my chest.". Reaching out for advice from those who also have a pacemaker, Max said: "The doctors aren't too sure [why this happening].
