Happy Valley's James Norton and Niamh Algar from The Virtues are set to grace our screens in the new psychological thriller, Playing Nice. The ITV drama, filmed and set against the stunning backdrop of Cornwall, unravels the story of two couples who discover their three-year-old sons, Theo and David, were switched at birth due to a hospital blunder.
The couples strike a deal, but how long will it be before this delicate arrangement reaches boiling point?. The series is an adaptation of a best-selling novel by British thriller maestro JP Delaney. The first episode is scheduled to air on ITV 1 and STV at 9pm on Sunday (January 5).
Binge-watchers can rejoice as the entire four-part series will be available on ITVX and STV Player on the same date. Cornwall Live reports the limited series was shot across the breathtaking Cornish landscape, with filming taking place along the coast of Cornwall in 2023 and 2024.

Maddie, a devoted mum and successful restaurant owner in Cornwall, has recently bounced back from severe postnatal depression. However, the revelation of the baby swap forces her to revisit and face her darkest fears.
