Meghan Markle has appeared in a new video filmed at the Montecito home she shares with Prince Harry and their two children. And she paid a sweet tribute to Archie and Lilibet as she spoke on camera in what was her first Instagram selfie clip. Bare-faced Meghan filmed the video to share her excitement as she opened a special gift donated by singer Billie Eilish for a family whose home was burned by the LA wildfires.

But eagle-eyed fans couldn't help but notice the Duchess's sweet nod to her son, Archie, five, and daughter, Lilibet, three. Meghan wore a pair of blue jeans and a black crewneck sweater, which had been embroidered with her children's names in white cursive letters near the neck. She completed her off-duty look with two gold bracelets and wore her loose hair to one side. In the video, Meghan explained how she got in touch with a mother and daughter whose home was "left in ashes" by the blazes, which destroyed more than 12,000 homes. Among the 15-year-old's possessions lost in the fire was a Billie Eilish T-shirt that had been left in the washing machine.

Meghan told her followers: "I said, 'Well, I don't know, Billie Eilish but I'm going to figure out how to get you this shirt'. I thought of everybody that I knew, and I made a voice note and I was like, 'Please, can someone get this voice note to Billie Eilish'.". In the video, Meghan opens a package to reveal the singer had signed a box full of merchandise for the 15-year-old. "Let's keep supporting those affected by the California wildfires," the Duchess captioned the video.

Meghan chose to disable the comments on her post - but her fans were quick to praise her efforts on X. "I love how excited she is, so sweet to help this girl," one person said. A second said: "I just love how she is choosing to be her authentic self. She is one strong woman. What a beautiful heart." And a third wrote: "Wow you are so thoughtful and kind! What an amazing thing you did.". Not everyone was in agreement, however. Others accused Meghan of being 'tone deaf' and claimed she made it "all about herself". "Someone's lost their home and she is gushing about how amazing she is for getting them some signed merch," someone remarked. "This disaster tourism has now turned into disaster merching.".
