The hooded Raffles-style thief also took crocodile skin Hermes handbags valued at £150,000 and £15,000 in cash. Last night Shafira Huang and her family offered two rewards. They put up £500,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

Details of the burglary were released by police for the first time yesterday more than three weeks after the break-in and after a fruitless search for the suspect by local cops. The crook broke into the house – close to the Israeli Ambassador’s London residence in Avenue Road - between 5 and 5.30pm on December 7.
