Meanwhile there was a tragedy in Brazil with a 21-year-old man killed and two others injured after a giant Christmas tree came crashing down during a storm.
Emergency services rushed to the incident in Katowice, Poland, where the man had climbed the festive tree in the town square.
It is not known why the man climbed the tree, but it is thought that he became stuck when he realised he couldn't climb back down.
