Mum slammed for plan to leave kids aged 18 MONTHS & five alone at midnight to go and pick up her husband A MUM has left other parents stunned after revealing she was going to leave her two young children at home alone to go and pick up her husband.
Em, who said she was scared to even leave her kids in the car when going to pay at a petrol station, added in the video caption: "Not wanting to shame anyone just honestly mind was blown!!!".
And while Em couldn't believe what she was hearing, the other woman was heard insisting it would be fine, as her kids never wake up during the night.
Parents are urged to use their "judgement on how mature your child is before you decide to leave them alone, for example at home or in a car".
The woman was overheard by Em telling a friend about her plan - with the situation made even more shocking by the fact her youngest is just 18 months old, and the eldest is five.
