A bloke who had such big 'man boobs' he had to tape them under his armpits has finally had them cut off after years of cruel bullying. Sam Sawyers, who lives near Oxford, noticed he had enlarged breasts after hitting puberty, but blamed his chest on being overweight as a child.

The now 23-year-old said cruel school bullies would poke his C-cup sized 'man boobs' every day, meaning he would never take his top off until undergoing surgery. Sam, who works as an assistant site manager and online coach, said he would go swimming in a T-shirt and sunbathe fully dressed due to onlookers staring at his chest.

It was only when Sam lost a whopping five stone last year that he noticed his 'C cup breasts' had yet to disappear and he resorted to taping them under his armpits. Sam was told by his fitness coach that he could have gynecomastia - an overdevelopment or enlargement of the breast tissue in males that's often caused by fluctuating hormone levels.

After an official diagnosis, Sam began researching surgeries to remove the enlarged breast tissue and excess skin, stumbling upon a clinic in Poland who performed the operation for £5,000. Now, Sam feels more confident than ever in his own skin after going under the knife in July.
