Nanoleaf has announced an LED face mask at CES 2025, and it’s one that undercuts many of its key rivals. The company is known for its eye-catching LED home lights, available in all sorts of shapes, but has now moved into beauty with the Nanoleaf LED Light Therapy Face Mask.

One of the most enticing aspects of this new mask is it costs less than almost all of the picks in our recent LED face mask group test. While UK pricing has not yet been announced, the Nanoleaf LED Light Therapy Face Mask sells for $150 in the US — and is currently available at $135 thanks to an “early bird” deal. The highly-rated CurrentBody mask costs £399.

One clear difference is the Nanoleaf LED Light Therapy Face Mask doesn’t use quite as many LEDs as some. There are 108 bulbs in the mask, which you attach to your face using a strap. A cable connects to a control module, which lets you choose from the seven modes. Mirroring what you see in Nanoleaf’s more conventional products, the Nanoleaf LED Light Therapy Face Mask can output seven colours.

We arguably only need red and blue, the traditional wavelengths for this kind of device, but Nanoleaf also offers green, cyan, yellow, purple and white. Crucially, near-infrared light is part of the output regardless of the mode. Nanoleaf claims power density of 91.9 mW/cm² in the red mode, or 98.9 mW/cm² in the blue mode. This is not far off the peak 128mW/cm² claimed by Shark for its £300 CryoGlow mask.
