Ed Sheeran’s impromptu street performance in India was cut short after a police officer pulled the plug on his microphone.
His ongoing Mathematics Tour saw Sheeran become the first international artist to play in Bhutan.
Sheeran took to his Instagram Stories to address what had happened: ‘We had permission to busk btw, hence us playing in that exact spot, was planned out before, wasn’t just us randomly turning up.
But when he was midway through belting out smash hit single Shape Of You, a police officer came along and cut the performance short.
