Princess Anne put on a stylish display in a crimson coat and matching scarf today as she joined other members of the Royal Family at a special Christmas church service at Sandringham. The Princess Royal, 74, has had a very busy 12 months, taking on more royal engagements amid King Charles's cancer battle, and was named the hardest-working royal for the second consecutive year.
As she made her way to St Mary Magdalene church on Christmas morning, Anne looked regal in a collarless red coat which she paired with a navy pleated plaid skirt and black suede knee-high boots. The mother-of-two added a gold brooch, crimson scarf and a wide-brimmed hat - complete with a firm trim - as well as a navy suede clutch bag.
She wore a pair of drop earrings, which complemented her brooch, and kept her make-up simple for the occasion, just adding a swipe of red lipstick. Anne, who received a bouquet of flowers from a well-wisher, was joined by her husband Sir Timothy Laurence, 69, and son Peter Phillips, 47.
Also in attendance was her daughter Zara Tindall, 43, who looked stunning in a burgundy coat. Anne has not only supported her brother King Charles by taking on extra public duties this year, she has also stood by him amid what has been a turbulent year for the monarch - including his and Kate's cancer diagnoses as well as Prince Andrew's Chinese spy scandal.
Princess Anne (pictured) looked typically stylish at Sandringham this morning in a crimson coat and matching scarf. Earlier this month, the royals braced for the fallout from Prince Andrew's ties to an alleged Chinese spy, with King Charles said to be furious with his younger brother for tarnishing the reputation of the entire Royal Family.
