Psychologist reveals The Traitors players with a natural advantage - from 'analytical' Charlotte to 'magnetic' Jake (and why 'empathetic' Minah may be a headache for the faithfuls!)

The Traitors producers have always said they cast players on whether or not they'd want to share a pint with them down the pub. But there's no denying that in order to succeed at the game, players need to be eagle-eyed, level-headed and, quite often, duplicitous.
According to chartered psychologist Dr Rachael Molitor, some of this year's contestants have a natural advantage over the others - which will no doubt influence the game. The BBC series, which pulled in 5.4m viewers with its first episode last week, follows a group of 'faithfuls' trying to suss out the 'traitors' among them, who 'murder' contestants at night in a bid to claim the £120,000 cash prize for themselves.
Dr Molitor, who is a Coventry University lecturer, has argued Minah's 'high conscientiousness' is why she has had such a strong start as a traitor. Meanwhile, the expert has predicted that Charlotte - who is faking a Welsh accent to make her more 'trustworthy' - may prove to be one of the faithfuls' most useful assets, thanks to her 'analytical' mind and ability to spot 'behavioural inconsistencies'.
Despite his teammates appearing to turn against him last week, Kasim's 'strong analytical skills' could also help the faithfuls triumph over the traitors... that is, if they don't banish him first. Here FEMAIL reveals how the players' personality traits could influence the game - as it returns to screens tonight.
