Real Madrid star facing up to five years in prison after being accused of sharing an explicit video of a minor - but still STARTS Champions League clash with Man City Real Madrid defender Raul Asencio is facing up to five years in jail for allegedly distributing an explicit video of a 16-year-old girl.
Article 197 of Spain's Criminal Code states that any individual found guilty of recording and sharing an explicit video of a minor will face between three-and-a-half and five years in prison.
Asencio, 21, has been under investigation, along with three of his former team-mates - Ferran Ruiz, Juan Rodriguez and Andres Garcia - from Madrid's youth team, for the alleged incident that took place on June 15, 2023 in Gran Canaria, and was reported to the Spanish police by the girl's mother a little under two months later.
He could face up to five years in prison if found guilty of recording and sharing the video.
The sentence would be lowered if Asencio is found guilty of only sharing the video but not recording it.
