Robbie Williams has confessed that he was a 'd**k' to Madonna as he reflected on past comments he made about the iconic singer. The 50-year-old former Take That star appeared on SiriusXM's Hits 1 on Friday, while promoting his upcoming biopic, Better Man.
During his conversation with host Ben Harlum, his dig at the Hung Up hitmaker was addressed where he had previously spoke to Andy Cohen about Madonna's age. Clarifying on what he thinks of the 66-year-old pop icon, Robbie said: 'Here's the thing, too, is I absolutely adore her and love her.'.
'The thing is about being a '90s British person [was that] it was wrestling. You did this thing in the press where – which made me me and made us us – you fill a space,' he further explained. The Rule The World singer continued: 'In the '90s and the tail end of that, you filled a space sometimes by being mean, but funny.
