Michael Bolton, 71, has announced that he is cancelling his upcoming London show as he continues to “heal from surgery”. The When a Man Loves a Woman singer previously revealed he had been diagnosed with a brain tumour and had undergone emergency surgery to remove it. Bolton has cancelled a string of concerts since his diagnosis in late 2023 and impressed upon fans that his recovery was of the utmost importance.

The rockstar was expected to perform at the O2 Arena in London on July 5, with Bonnie Tyler joining him as a special guest. But in a statement on Friday, Bolton revealed he would be cancelling the London show as he continues to “heal from surgery”. He thanked his fans for their ongoing support and reiterated that everyone with tickets to the show on July 5, will be “automatically refunded”. He wrote on Instagram: “Today we are announcing the cancellation of my July 5th concert at the O2 Arena in London.

“You all know how much I was looking forward to this show but I am continuing to heal from surgery. “Thank you for all your love and positive energy over this past year. I am so grateful to have the most supportive fans in the world. “Your tickets will be automatically refunded.”.
