Samsung Galaxy S25 first look: Three exciting new features including a special trick that saves you money

SAMSUNG has finally unveiled its brand new Galaxy S25 series - and The Sun got a first look before the general public. The brand new devices have evolved in design but also come packing some handy new features. Firstly, you can't help noticing the new rounded form factor which I think is an improvement.
But another change I'm all for is it's lighter - the S25 Ultra is a whole 15 per cent lighter, weighing in at 218g (making it ever so slightly less weighty than the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which comes in at 221g). Samsung has managed to give slightly more screen space too compared to last year's S24 Ultra.
This has been achieve by reducing the bezel which runs around the edge of the display - so you get more screen estate without having to hold a bigger, bulkier phone. On the inside, Samsung has upgraded to a new version of its Android software, One UI 7.
Here are three of the most exciting new features to expect. Samsung is taking the AI up a level with a new briefing feature which learns what you need throughout the day and can help you along the way. So, you can check it in the morning for an overview of things like traffic to work so you know whether to leave a bit earlier - or set off a bit later.
It'll have another briefing ready for you in the afternoon. "Imagine it's like a personal assistant in your pocket," Annika Bizon, Director of Mobile Experience, Samsung UK & Ireland, told The Sun. "Everything through to what meetings you've got that day, if you've got to pick your kids up, what the weather's like, and I travel a lot so it'll even put my boarding pass into my daily Now Bar so I don't have to run around trying to find it.
