Savers launches budget-friendly Botox cream and serum for just £5 each

Savers is offering a new anti-ageing beauty product that contains an ingredient similar to Botox. The budget-friendly retailer has filled its shelves with Babaria Botox Facial Cream, which is priced at just £4.99. A serum version is also available at the same price. Babaria is a Spanish brand known for creating cosmetics for the face, hair and body.
According to Savers' website, the product description reads: "Babaria BtoxEffect face cream provides a global anti-ageing effect." It further states: "Formulated with Tripeptide, it smooths wrinkles and provides and antioxidant action.". Tripeptides are a skincare ingredient that can improve the appearance of ageing skin, much like Botox. They work by stimulating fibroblasts, the cells that produce collagen, thereby enhancing skin firmness and elasticity, reports the Liverpool Echo.
Consequently, they can help reduce the visibility of fine lines. Tripeptides are particularly effective in improving the look of ageing skin, especially on the neck, and regular use can help smooth out unwanted wrinkles. Nicola Niven, a Facebook user, mentioned Savers' latest beauty product on popular group page, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK. She posted a picture of the cream and serums on a shelf and wrote: "After the tanning jelly going viral for the Babaria range I thought I would give the face cream and serum a go.".
