Jannik Sinner fans have reason to feel apprehensive ahead of his Australian Open  quarter-final clash with Alex de Minaur after the world number one looked physically unwell in his fourth round match versus Holger Rune on Monday. Sinner, 23, woke up feeling flat and delayed his arrival to Melbourne Park.

The defending champion then had to endure a humid temperature of 32 degrees - which was hotter on-court. Sinner looked in serious physical distress in the third set before leaving the arena to receive treatment on the advice of his support staff when leading 3-2.

He was seen shaking and looked 'like a zombie' before taking a medical timeout, which lasted 11 minutes. Post-match, Sinner revealed he was feeling 'dizzy' - and he didn't object when Rune took his own medical break in the third set when trailing 5-3.
