As fans eagerly anticipate the return of Severance on Apple TV+, let's delve into the life of actor and comedian Adam Scott, who plays the lead role of Mark Scout. Scott is perhaps most renowned for his portrayal of Ben Wyatt in the popular NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation. Throughout his career, he has made appearances in a diverse range of comedy series and films, occasionally taking on dramatic roles.

His latest critically acclaimed project, Severance, revolves around a team of employees whose memories are divided between their work and personal lives, effectively creating new personas who work for the enigmatic Lumon Industries. Although Adam Scott tends to keep his personal life private, some details about his life outside of Hollywood have surfaced, , reports the Mirror US.

During a recent promotional interview for Severance on TODAY, alongside director and executive producer Ben Stiller, Scott shared a personal update. The 51-year-old actor revealed that his family, who reside in Los Angeles, are safe following the cancellation of Severance's season two premiere due to the fires in the area.

"Family's good," he assured. "My mother and father-in-law lost their home, along with thousands of others. "So we're all just doing what we can to help out.". Scott rarely shares personal updates on his social media platforms, primarily utilising his Instagram account to promote his latest projects. However, Scott took to social media in August 2023 with a rare and touching post dedicated to his wife Naomi Sablan, celebrating her birthday with heartfelt words: "This is the 25th birthday of my brilliant, beautiful, hilarious, foxy wife Naomi that I've been lucky enough to spend with her. Yup we met in 1998.
