YOUTUBE gave shameless killer Jake Fahri “official artist” status for a video uploaded hours before he was thrown back in jail. Masked rapper Fahri — exposed by The Sun as performing under the name TEN — tried to cash in after he was recalled to prison for boasting about murdering 16-year-old Jimmy Mizen.

His track Dirty Game had already racked up 22,000 views on the GRM Daily account, which has 6.5million subscribers. It was taken down after our story only for Fahri, 35, to upload it on his own channel. The three-minute clip features scenes filmed illegally in prison and contains the lyrics: “Even if you bust a case, even if you slip right, ends with them coming for your neck, protect your windpipe.”.

It was awarded an “official artist channel” badge — which stops YouTube performers being impersonated by scammers. TEN’s new channel has less than 100 subscribers and the re-uploaded video has only 1,000 views — and almost as many dislikes as likes.

It is unclear if the channel is eligible to rake in money like many others on the platform. Yesterday Jimmy’s campaigner mum Margaret Mizen, 72, said she was “hurt” that the video was back online. She added: “It’s last-minute defiance. And that is pathetic.

“That YouTube have given him this badge is unbelievable. “It might be asking too much, but I want his entire social media gone.”. YouTube, which previously said it would examine Fahri’s content, was approached for to comment. Earlier the BBC took 22 hours to remove an episode of a Radio 1Xtra show featuring TEN’s music.
