SHOCKING footage shows two men wrestling in a "road rage row" that led to huge delays as one passerby shouted "he's getting sparked". In the video, a queue of cars can be seen stuck behind one another at junction near Heathrow Airport on the A30 yesterday.
The passenger of a passing car films the incident from behind, where the driver's side doors of both a grey Toyota Prius and maroon Ford Fiesta can be seen open. As the vehicle passes forward, two men can then be seen brawling in front of the Prius, with the filming passenger shouting "he's getting sparked.".
Footage then shows a woman exiting the Fiesta to intervene in the situation. The brawling pair had been at a set of traffic lights when they got into a row. Flaring tempers had got the duo into a dust-up which saw them grappling on the ground and holding up traffic.
The incident, which took place on 12 January, garnered both a comical and frustrated response online from many viewers. One local said: “Two drivers have a full on wrestle near Hatton Cross.”. Charanjeet Bhachu joked: “Not fast, just furious.”. A third added: “New sport in coming…road wrestling.”.
Pavandeep Sohal fumed: “Caused delays for nothing.”. A fifth joked: “Your Uber has arrived.”. The Met Police has been approached for comment. This comes days after footage showed a cop punch a driver in the face before wrestling him to the ground. Inspector Jonathan Mellor, from Lincolnshire Police, was accused of punching Shane Price, during a physical confrontation caught on camera.
