Stratford: Man dies after being hit by lorry in east London collision A pedestrian has been killed after being hit by a lorry in Stratford on Monday afternoon.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police were called at approximately 14:00hrs on Monday, 13 January to reports of a collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian in Carpenters Road, at the junction with High Street, E15.
Police are probing the circumstances around the collision, which saw paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance to the scene.
“Officers, London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance all attended the scene.
The man, aged in his twenties, was pronounced dead at the scene in Carpenters Avenue at around 2pm.
