Strictly star Amy Dowden will make a triumphant comeback for the show's live tour as she reunites with partner JB Gill after being forced to bow out of this year's competition. The professional dancer, 34, was devastated after suffering a stress fracture in her shin, causing her to miss out on the series, which later saw JLS singer JB, 38, reach the final.
Amy had returned to Strictly this year for the first time after having a mastectomy following her diagnoses with breast cancer, making her injury and having to pull out of the show all the more painful. But MailOnline can reveal the Welsh star will perform in the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour with JB, who was a runner-up on Saturday's final after blind comedian Chris McCausland won the glitterball trophy.
Dancer Lauren Oakley, 33 will also star on the tour and compete with JB after taking over from Amy when she fell ill this series. They are just one of seven pairings who will travel up and down the country in the New Year for the 30-date tour, which begins on January 17 and ends on February 9.
