A month after Chris McCausland’s big Strictly Come Dancing win, his unmissable stand-up show is finally coming to Netflix. His new comedy episode was taken from his ‘Speaky Blinders’ live tour at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire theatre in 2022.

There has been no promotion for the new release but thrilled fans noticed that the preview is already available to watch on Netflix. The hilarious special is full of quick wit and old-school charm as the comedian navigates his way through parenting while blind and all the humorous tales that come with it.

Many enjoyed the live show when Chris went on tour, but fans are now excited to watch their live show from the comfort of their sofa. X user, @A5Paige said: ‘It was very funny, especially as being a fellow blind person I fully understood all the references’.

Another ‘Speaky Blinders’ viewer, Ellen, took to Instagram to say: ‘This is the comedy version of the Eras Tour!’. Chris won Strictly Come Dancing back in September with professional dance partner, Dianne Buswell; however the comic will not be making an appearance on the Strictly tour as the dates clash with his own solo tour – ‘Yonks’.

McCausland will play 250 dates over the next two years. In a recent Instagram post, Chris shared a selfie of him and Dianne with the caption ‘Nine days and counting….?????? That’s all you get for now.’. Comedy fans were quick to comment with one excited Instagram user saying: ‘Not me checking the tour dates against the Strictly tour dates…’.
