Strictly winner Louis Smith announces birth of baby and adorable name choice Strictly Come Dancing winner and Olympian Louis Smith has announced the arrival of his second child with girlfriend Charlie Bruce.
Announcing the birth of their second child, Louis took to Instagram to share his admiration for Charlie and reveal that they’d named the baby Remi.
He wrote: ‘Remi Monroe Smith 🌍7lb 9 Been a wild ride but so happy to say mum and baby are all doing ok. ‘Charlie you are so incredible to go through what you did should be so proud.
The pair announced they were expecting earlier this year, with Louis writing on Instagram alongside an ultrasound photo: ‘So nice we had to do it twice!’.
Louis, 35 – who was awarded an MBE in 2013 – began dating Charlie, a British jazz dancer from Leicestershire, in November 2017.
