Sir Alex Ferguson would ‘boot’ one Manchester United player ‘out the door’ if he was still in charge of the club, according to Teddy Sheringham. Ferguson established himself as one of the greatest managers of all-time during his 27-year spell at United, lifting 13 Premier League titles and two Champions Leagues.

His man-management has been commended by former players but Fergie was also known for being ruthless and Sheringham says he would not have stood for Marcus Rashford’s admission that he wants out.
