Tennessee Titans fire GM Ran Carthon days after landing first pick in the NFL Draft The Tennessee Titans landed the No.
1 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft after finishing this season 3-14 - but GM Ran Carthon won't be given the chance to continue the team's rebuild.
Titans president Amy Adams Strunk announced on Tuesday that the team was firing Carthon and bringing his two-year run as GM to an end.
Carthon had signed an extension with the franchise this past offseason and has four years remaining on his current deal, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The Titans went a combined 9-25 over Carthon's two seasons after he was hired in January 2023.
