Actor Zachary Quinto takes on the role of supernatural villain Charlie in the supernatural series. It sees him transform with prosthetics into an ancient being, which is something that very much appealed to the actor. He told Vulture: 'I'd been actively looking for a role that would let me disappear and really lose myself in the physicality of the character.
'Everything that you can do prosthetically, we did. There really was no part of my face that was uncovered,' he added. It also sees Australian actor Ashleigh Cummings, who viewers will know from Westside and Gallipoli. Supporting members of the cast include Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Bing Partridge, Virginia Kull as Linda McQueen and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Chris McQueen.
