TGI Fridays’ flagship Leicester Square branch has closed without warning just months after tens of the brand’s restaurants pulled down their shutters for good. A rescue deal for TGI Fridays saw 51 restaurants acquired by new owners last October after the previous UK operator collapsed into administration.
The Leicester Square branch was one of those initially saved from closure - but the site has now closed for good, alongside the 35 other TGIs which were shut down last year, causing more than 1,000 redundancies.
