The Masked Singer's Joel Dommett made toe-curling Stormzy blunder in front of Maya Jama The Masked Singer host, Joel Dommett, has admitted that he made a huge blunder when filming the ITV show with Maya Jama on the judging panel.
Viewers got to see Maya on the panel alongside Jonathan Ross, Davina McCall and Mo Gilligan, when she replaces pop star Rita Ora in trying to guess who is the singer behind the elaborate masks and costumes.
The comedian said that he committed a massive faux-pas when he was in front of Love Island host Maya, as he continually sang Stormzy songs, just weeks after the TV presenter had split from the British rapper.
Maya ended her relationship with Stormzy last July and is now reportedly dating footballer, Manchester City star Ruben Dias.
Recalling the awkward moments, Joel told The Sun: "I’m really bad at all of the gossip stuff, which is why I’m so naive in some Masked Singer reveals and suggestions.
