All eyes are on the Traitors on Friday night for the finale of the gripping third series, which will see the remaining contestants fight for the cash prize. Claudia Winkleman has her fingerless gloves ready for the 12th and final episode, which will be shown on BBC1 from 8.30pm on Friday, January 24.

Just five players are left in contention, the traitor Charlotte Berman and the Faithful four: Alexander Dragonetti, Francesca Rowan-Plowden, Jake Brown and Leanne Quigley. At the end of episode 11, the prize pot stood at £73,600 and the players had the chance to earn even more in the finale.

Here are how the previous winners of the Traitors have fared. Three winners were crowned at the end of the first series of the Traitors, meaning the cash pot was divided into thirds. Comedian Hannah Byczkowski, call centre agent Meryl Williams and property agent Aaron Evans were the three, who took around £34,000 each – not bad for three weeks’ work.

"It is actually like a luxury to say, 'I don't have any debt and I am comfortable' and that is more than I could ever wish for.". Traitor Harry Clark from Slough took the entire cash pot from having successfully conned his way to the final stage and killed off his rivals.
