As the highly-anticipated finale of The Traitors nears, it has been revealed just who inspired Charlotte's fake Welsh accent. Amanda, who took part in the BBC's first series of The Traitors - was a fan favourite traitor before she was betrayed by her fellow villain and banished by the faithfuls when her deception was uncovered.
However, on Thursday she revealed that her Welsh accent inspired this year's finalist Charlotte, who is the last remaining traitor in the game. Charlotte, a business director from Hampshire, has painted herself as a sunny character from Wales, quickly forming friendships throughout the series helped by her 'trusting accent'.
However, she was quick to reveal in the first episode in her confessional that she wasn't from Wales, quickly switching from her Valleys tone to her real London accent. Charlotte said she hoped that being Welsh would paint in a more Faithful-friendly light which has so far worked in her favour as she became the only remaining traitor to make the 2025 final after she was recruited by Minah last week.
