GLASTONBURY may be taking a break for 2026, but boss Emily Eavis has made sure next year’s festival is going to be a vintage year. After I revealed The 1975, Stevie Wonder and Neil Young had been booked as the Pyramid stage headlines, our Jack’s well-placed insider has confirmed three more huge names to perform down at Worthy Farm.

And before the feminists start lobbing their pitchforks in the direction of Somerset, we are happy to tell you that they are all massive female artists. A source said: “Chappell Roan, Olivia Rodrigo and Charli XCX will all play Glastonbury next summer.

"Charli will headline The Other Stage and Chappell will be playing the Pyramid Stage. "Olivia is coming straight to Worthy Farm after playing BST Hyde Park, so her slot is being firmed up. “Emily really wanted Glastonbury to go back to its rock roots but by bringing in three of the world’s biggest female stars to play too, she is making a real statement.

“Glastonbury always has something for everyone but next summer’s line-up is really impressive in terms of the spectrum of acts and how big they are.”. We first revealed that Signed, Sealed, Delivered and Superstition great Stevie was in talks to play the festival last summer, but negotiations broke down at the last minute.

He is now back on the Glasto bill alongside Matty Healy's 1975 and the legend that is Neil Young. Sir Rod Stewart is also booked to play the Sunday Legends slot. He said that despite it costing him an arm and a leg to play, he couldn’t turn it down. “It’s going to cost me a fortune to do it — £300,0000,” Rod revealed.
