Amid reports of Tom Holland and Zendaya getting engaged, the Spider-Man actor has confirmed his next big movie role. Tom is all set to play a lawyer in the upcoming adaptation of John Grisham's novel The Partner for Universal Pictures. Not only will he be acting in the film, but the multi-faceted star will also be donning the hat of producer too.
The 1997 novel follows a junior partner at a law firm who ends up stealing $90 million from a wealthy client, faking his own death and fleeing to Brazil. Further details about the film including when it will go on floors are yet to be revealed, but Tom already has an incredible line-up of films he's working on.
He will star in Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, the fourth instalment in the Spider-Man series and potentially in an Avengers sequel. Upon reading the announcement, fans flocked to Reddit to share their opinions as one person said: "I hope Tom Holland gets some good sleep this year because his schedule is about to be filled up.".
Another fan expressed: "The Partner is one of my favorite Grisham books so I'm psyched it's finally getting adapted. "Not sure why it wasn't adapted soon after it was released during the late 90s/early 00s when seemingly every Grisham book got made into a movie.".
