Tommy Fury has seemingly shot his shot, calling for a boxing showdown with former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor. 'TNT' has been out of action since he defeated KSI in 2023. Fury was scheduled to take on former UFC title challenger Darren Till later this month, but pulled out of the contest after the MMA star threatened to kick the professional boxer in the head if he was losing the fight.

With Fury now seemingly looking to stay busy in 2025, the 25-year-old has sensationally sent a message to McGregor just hours after KSI called out the Irishman. Recently, rumours began to circulate claiming that KSI could step in for Logan Paul and take on 'The Notorious'.

On Wednesday evening, the YouTuber then confirmed the news in a post uploaded to social media. He wrote: "Not rumoured. I'm very down." However, it's fair to say Fury was left far from impressed, issuing a call-out of his own. In a post uploaded to X Fury said: "@TheNotoriousMMA don’t waste your time with beaten fighters. Fight the man who’s beaten them all and still has his 0. I’ll be waiting…".

The post was accompanied with a phone emoji. As of yet, McGregor is yet to respond to the call-out from the boxing star. Fury has been fairly active on social media since pulling out of his heavyweight dust-up with Till. Although he did recently call for a rematch with long-time rival Jake Paul.

Fury famously handed 'The Problem Child' the first loss of his professional career, with the American desperate to exact his revenge. "Right, so I've just woke up and seen Logan Paul talk on his podcast yet again about how I don't want to fight Jake and that I'm running scared. I've seen Jake tweet the other day about how he offered me x,y,z on Netflix. I just wanted to come on here and say that no one here is running from this fight," Fury said.
