Tyrese Haliburton is hoping to repeat the winning feeling he helped create in Paris last summer with Team USA, but this time in an Indiana Pacers uniform during their NBA Global Games double-header this week. The Pacers face the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday and Saturday night at the Accor Arena - in what is an NBA first by hosting two regular-season games in Europe.

For point guard Haliburton it is his second time in the French capital in the space of six months after playing in the Olympics for his country. In a star-studded roster, Haliburton - who was nursing a leg injury - didn't have the impact at the Games as he would have liked as he played the fewest minutes of the 12-man roster, featuring in just three games and only attempted five shots.

Nonetheless, Haliburton left Paris with an Olympic gold medal and many memories - including an iconic celebratory photo on the steps outside the Accor Arena. 'I’m excited to play and actually play in this arena,' the 24-year-old two-time All-Star joked on Wednesday when he reflected on his Olympics experience.
