BERND LENO'S blunder helped Graham Potter launch his Prem reign for West Ham with a dramatic win. Carlos Soler and Tomas Soucek hit a quickfire double and Lucas Paqueta struck midway through the first half, with Alex Iwobi twice netting from crosses inbetween for Fulham.
Fulham pushed forward for the first half-hour but West Ham suddenly struck twice. Andreas Pereira fluffed his attempt to play out from the back, enabling Soler to curl an opener. Mohammed Kudus then sparked a fine attack that led to Guido Rodriguez raking a low cross for Soucek to fire home.
The Cottagers got the goal back they served on 51 minutes. Iwobi curved a brilliant centre straight in, although lunging Fulham striker tried to claim he got a final touch. But Leno then dwelt too long on a backpass, with Paqueta pouncing to restore the Hammers' two-goal lead.
