The penultimate round of the league phase for the UEFA Champions League comes to a close on Wednesday and the stakes are higher than ever. After seven matchdays of unpredictable and entertaining football, Liverpool and Barcelona are the only two sides to have confirmed their spot in the next round.
Out of the 36 teams involved, 25 of them will only learn their knockout phase fate once the final whistle goes in each of the 18 games. Arsenal and Aston Villa have secured knockout round football but whether or not they have to play in the play-offs or receive automatic qualification to the last-16 will be decided tomorrow.

Manchester City face Club Brugge in a must win game at the Etihad. The Gunners travel to Spain to go up against Girona knowing a win would secure them automatic qualification to the Last-16.
