So far, so good for Vitor Pereira. The Portuguese has found life at Wolves pretty easy going, to be honest. It's seven points from three games and he'll be full of confidence going into tonight.
The reign started with a 3-0 win away at Leicester. Perfect. They then beat Man United 2-0. Ideal. Before a point at Tottenham. Fine. I'm always wary of a new manager bounce, but you look at this team on paper and they are much better than where the league table has them. I expect them to get out of the rut they're in.
Tonight could be their toughest test so far, though, so time will tell. . So it is indeed Forest vs Wolves, and it's third against 17th. I wonder how many would have expected that at the start of the season. It felt Wolves were settled under Gary O'Neil, and Forest in a bit of trouble under Nuno. But low and behold, it has been the complete opposite.
O'Neil's time is up and Vitor Pereira has the task of simply keeping Wolves in the Premier League. For Forest, it would feel as though it would be a failure not to qualify for Europe at this point. Wolves could go 16th today, but, more importantly, create a gap to 18th place Ipswich. Forest are looking to go level on points with Arsenal, who are second.
