A Sussex Police spokesperson said: "Police investigating the fatal stabbing of a woman at a property in Bayencourt South, Bexhill, have arrested a woman on suspicion of murder.
"Officers carried out an extensive search of the area and a 39-year-old woman from Bexhill was arrested on suspicion of murder.
Another woman, 39, has been arrested on suspicion of murder, police confirmed today.
The victim, 58, was pronounced dead at the scene in Bexhill, East Sussex, at around 10pm on Wednesday.
Detective Chief Inspector Campbell said: “Our thoughts are with the victim's family and friends following this tragic incident and the family ask that they are given privacy at this time.
