Shamed Strictly star Wynne Evans has hired the same crisis PR expert tasked with saving the career of another of the show's outcasts, Graziano Di Prima. The Welshman, 53, was axed from the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour on Tuesday amid the furore of his vile x-rated remark towards host Jeanette Manara at the show's launch, which the Mail on Sunday revealed.
And now Evans has taken on veteran publicist Mark Borkowski in a bid to ease the crisis surrounding him. Last year, Borkowski was hired by pro dancer Di Prima, 30, after he was sacked by Strictly for verbally and physically abusing his celebrity partner Zara McDermott.
He instructed the Italian hunk to lie low and protect his mental health and a similar strategy is likely to be deployed on Evans. Indeed, fears for the singer's well-being have been raised by his Strictly co-stars in the wake of the scandal, especially as Wynne has openly discussed struggling with his mental health previously following his marriage split.

It was revealed on Tuesday Evans had broken up from his girlfriend Liz Brookes, 50, who's been credited for upping his morale after his painful divorce. Evans is also taking a break from his BBC Wales radio show with comedian Robin Morgan, who has covered for him in the past, presenting in his place.
